Complete 750 Hours Required Curriculum

100 Hours – Ayurvedic Studies - six long weekends over 7 months
Known as “The Science of Life,” Ayurveda explores how to keep the body and mind healthy through diet, herbal and lifestyle remedies which are most valuable in supporting health of clients and students.

100 Hours – Holistic Yoga Therapy - four hours a month spanning two years
Explores a myriad of Yoga Therapy tools to assess a client’s physical health and employ asana, pranayama and massage techniques to help clients reduce pain and move towards holistic healing.

100 Hours – Soul of Body - a 10-day session from September 22nd – 30th, 2014*
An exploration of the functions, dis-ease and healing of the human body from the layered perspectives of anatomy, physiology, mind, energy and spirit.

100 Hours – Soul of Life
– a 10-day session from February 20th – March 1st 2014*
A course in understanding the anatomical and physiological changes that occur within the human life-cycle, and gaining the skills to address to a client’s well being regardless of age or stage of life.

100 Hours – Yoga of the Heart  – one 10 day retreat March 11th – 20th, 2014
Join Nischala Joy Devi on her popular 10 day Southern California yoga retreat in Joshua Tree to explore the physical, emotional and spiritual components of cancer and heart disease and how Yoga can be an effective therapeutic application in such situations.

25 Hours – Yoga for Mood Management - two long weekends May 9-11, Nov 14-16, 2014
Training in LifeForce Yoga, a medically researched and evidence-based therapeutic yoga practice for both depression and anxiety, as well as ancient strategies from both Tantric and Classical Yoga traditions for self-care.

25 Hours – Healing Relationships
– One long weekend April 23th – 27th, 2014
Through an in-depth coverage of the maya koshas, chakras, kleshas and gunas, students will gain insight into how mind, emotion and body inter-relate to cause disease as well as promote healing.

100 Hours – Soul of Wholeness – one 10-day session from June 5th – 14th, 2014*
A comparative study of the various texts, philosophies, techniques and lineages which make up the teachings of yoga.

100 Hours – Mentoring -  1.5 Hours twice monthly
Part clinic, part support group our mentoring sessions offer opportunity to address and review cases, receive feedback, share learning and insight and build a supportive community with fellow students and instructors.

50 Hours – Soul of Wisdom – varying dates in 2014
This non-traditional learning pilgrimage will provide students with an understanding of how to incorporate Yogic Philosophy into their healing practices in a completely relevant and insightful way.

And any 50 hour combination of:

50 Hours – Kundalini Intensive
 - one 5 day session
Study of the power of mantras, kriyas and meditations of Kundalini technology to activate client’s innate healing energy and apply it to specific situations.

25 Hours – Prenatal Yoga Training August 21st – 26th, 2014
An examination of pregnancy through the lens of anatomy, physiology, heart and mind in order to work with confidence with pregnant students to strengthen, support and prepare them for delivery.

Successful completion of a 200-hour Yoga teacher training


Local Students: $11,680 (Includes 24-months of unlimited yoga)
Non-Local Students: $10,000


Pay-In-Full: Receive $300 off your tuition by paying in full.
Refer a Friend: 10% – (friend must be enrolled in the same session, 10% is calculated off final discounted price)
Military, Senior: 30% off – this may not be combined with any other discount

Soul of Yoga Institute Alumni Discounts
$200 off tuition if enrolled anytime 45 days after graduation for 200 Hour Graduates – can be combined with any other discount
$900 off tuition if enrolled within 45 days of 200 hour graduation – this may not be combined with any other discount
$3750 anytime for completion of or upgrade to Yoga Therapy from 300 or 500 hour training

3. Provide an $700 non-refundable/transferable deposit via check or credit card within five business days of acceptance to guarantee your space. Checks should be made to “Soul of Yoga.”
