25 Hour Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

Restorative Teacher Training provides the teacher with a clear understanding of the roles of the nervous system as well as the subtle energy body and how they relate to relaxation response. You will be guided to explore how restorative poses can be used to create balance, nurture inner quiet, and renew core energy. Students will also learn skills to help you create deeply transformative poses through the use of voice, sound therapy, specific themes, verbal cueing, and props. Trainees will practice tuning in to the subtle energetic field of their students, developing the ability to sense, see, and feel physical and energetic misalignments and skills for adjusting them to create a greater sense of health and wholeness.
This training will take place at our beautiful and serene Soul of Yoga Institute located at 162 S. Rancho Santa Fe Rd, Suite A70, Encinitas.
- The anatomy of the Nervous system
- The use of props and the art of propping
- Guidelines for common health conditions and modifications
- Sound therapy
- Using imagery to access the subtle body
- Mantra, meditations and pranayama
- Opening and creating space for deep relaxation
- Intention of restorative poses through the Koshas (or energy bodies)
Tuition: Early Bird $360 until 4/9/19; $450 Thereafter
This training qualifies for 25 CE for yoga teachers.
Chiara Stella is a ERYT 500 and has done over a 2000 hours in continuous study, including metaphysics, sound healing, Feng Shui, Ayurveda and Shamanism. She trained in Restorative Yoga with Leslie Kazadi. Chiara’s teaching style is intuitive and from her heart, reminding us of the interconnectedness of all of life. The practice is a loving prayer, a ritual to dive deeper into the body and awaken inner wisdom, helping people connect to their own inner knowing, remembering their Soul’s journey. She currently teaches Restorative, Hatha, Yin, Prenatal, and Vinyasa, meditation and Cosmic alignment.
