Upon graduating from Soul of Yoga’s RYS-200 program, the Soul of Yoga gives you a “200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate” that lists the school’s name, the 200-hour designation, your name, the completion date and a hand-signed signature from the lead trainer or owner—Yoga Alliance requires every school to include these elements.

If you later decide to register with Yoga Alliance, you upload that Soul of Yoga certificate, pay the application fee and annual dues, and once the organization verifies your record it confers the “Registered Yoga Teacher 200” (RYT 200) credential. At that point you can download a Yoga Alliance–branded RYT 200 certificate and digital badge from your member dashboard. In short, the school awards your primary completion certificate at graduation, while Yoga Alliance issues an optional credential and branded certificate only after you apply and are approved.
