This online sound healing course is for yoga teachers who want to weave sound healing into their classes. Led by Ryan Stanley, this training explores why sound can be a powerful complement to yoga, how to use sound in the most pleasing and nervous-system-supportive ways, and how to begin working with accessible instruments such as the voice, tibetan bowls, chimes, drums, harmonium, and crystal singing bowls. Teachers will leave with grounded theory, musicality guidance, instrument recommendations, and simple techniques they can bring into their yoga classes to create more beautiful experiences for their students.

No instruments or previous sound healing experience is required. Teachers who already own instruments may have opportunities to demonstrate them online. If you have an instrument you can demonstrate if called upon, please enable “Original Sound” in Zoom in advance and arrive 15 minutes early to sound check with Ryan.

Bio: Ryan Stanley is a dedicated parent, spouse, yoga teacher, sound healer, and conscious business owner with rare depth of experience across yoga, sound healing education, sound instruments, and professional sound settings.
As owner of Soul of Yoga, Ryan has participated in and observed thousands of sound healings, sound baths, yoga classes with sound, and other sound experiences. He co-founded Soul of Yoga’s Sound Institute, active from 2018 through 2024, where he helped bring many of the world’s most renowned sound healing teachers to serve as faculty. Ryan studied within this environment, became an advanced sound healer, spent time with many master teachers, and has gone on to conduct private and group sound healings, teach yoga classes with sound, and support many sound healing students.
Ryan also co-founded Sacred Sound of the Soul, a sound healing instrument company that has helped thousands of customers connect with sound healing instruments and now focuses on Crystal Tones Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls. His broader sound experience includes audio, sound engineering, broadcasting, producing a sound healing album with Grammy-nominated vocalist Silvia Nakkach, as well as concert and studio work as a singing bowl musician with Grammy-winning artist LeAnn Rimes.
