Join Merry under the rays of the Full Moon in a candle & starlit setting for a deeply restful and healing experience. She’ll fill the room with healing light and guide you into a deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra), guide you to set your intentions (Sankalpas) followed by a cleansing and healing sound bath with crystal bowls, music therapy harp, chimes, gong, tibetan bowls and more. This offering helps you enter a more relaxed state which regulates your nervous system, reduces inflammation and boosts your healing response, which immediately benefits your physical and mental health. Healing currents will be amplified by the Full Moon. Just come, rest and receive! (Please read below for more detailed info!)

Please bring anything that makes you comfortable in a supporting shavasana. Some people like to bring soft mats, extra pillows/bolsters, eye masks, blankets, ect. We have props you can use at the studio (bolsters/blankets), but you may want to bring your own to make sure you have everything you need.  Dress in comfy clothes.

While resting in a supported savasana, Yoga Nidra guided meditation will help to quiet the overactive mind and unwind the nervous system as you awaken your true nature. Yoga Nidra helps to release tension in the body, calm the mind, enhance mental focus, improve quality of sleep, increase healthy habits and routines, reduce stress and increase overall mental wellbeing. In this state your Sankalpas & intentions (heartfelt desires) are amplified.

One study, published in the Journal of Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine, found that an hour long sound meditation helped people reduce tension, pain, anger, fatigue, anxiety, and depression while increasing a sense of spiritual well-being. The sound meditation used a range of Tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, Ting-shas (tiny cymbals), dorges (bells), didgeridoos, and other small bells. The main instrument used was the singing bowls for 95% of the session. People who had never done sound meditation experienced significantly less tension and anxiety afterward, as well as those who had done it before. – Psychology Today 2019
