If you’re looking for a quick certification, there are plenty of places for that…

But if you’re craving something deeper—a journey that’s personalized, soul-awakening, and grounded in true yogic wisdom—then Soul of Yoga Institute is where you belong.

Here, training isn’t transactional. It’s transformational. You’ll be guided by master teachers, supported by a conscious community, and given the space and structure to evolve—not just as a teacher, but as a human.

What Sets Us Apart From Other Trainings?

A True Exploration of Yoga’s Depth

Most programs give you one method. We give you many—a rare, multidimensional approach that honors classical yoga, modern science, subtle energy, mysticism, and more.

You’ll learn from master-level faculty across diverse lineages, so you can find the path that’s truly yours.

Ideal for students still discovering what resonates with them, offering a rich, exploratory journey rather than a one-track path.

Designed for Integration, Not Overwhelm

We structure our training with intentional space to absorb and integrate—through a blend of weekly practices and immersive retreat-style modules. It’s not a rush-to-the-finish-line kind of training.

This paced structure supports deeper personal transformation and avoids the burnout that can come from rapid, condensed programs.

No Pressure to “Pick a Lane”

Not sure if you’re a Vinyasa teacher or drawn to Kundalini? You’ll experience various styles like Vinyasa, Yin, Gentle, and Kundalini throughout the training before choosing your specialty.

We help you discover your unique teaching voice—on your timeline, not ours!

The program emphasizes self-inquiry and inner discernment, allowing students to discover what feels true for them, rather than being told what yoga “should” be.

Ultimate Flexibility Without Compromising Quality

Whether you join us in-person in Encinitas, California, live online, or through recorded sessions, you’ll receive the same high-caliber experience.

And you can mix formats week to week—ideal for those balancing careers, families, or travel.

Students can mix and match the way they attend:

  • In-Person
  • Live online
  • Recorded sessions

What subjects are covered in a 200-hour yoga teacher training curriculum?

The training builds a strong foundation for safe, inspiring classes and living the principles of yoga.

What are the requirements to graduate from a 200-hour program?

Graduation includes consistent attendance, completing reflective assignments, and demonstrating readiness to teach, yet it is much more than meeting checkboxes. The program emphasizes showing up with commitment, engaging deeply with the practices, and allowing yoga to become part of daily life. With guidance from mentors and the support of the community, students are encouraged to grow in both skill and self-awareness. In this way, graduation is not just the completion of training but a step into teaching with integrity, confidence, and authenticity.

Many students step directly into teaching in studios, gyms, wellness centers, or community spaces, while others choose to start with private sessions or informal offerings for friends and family.

What sets this training apart is that you do not just learn how to instruct postures, you learn how to hold space, communicate with clarity, and share yoga in a way that feels authentic to you. By the time graduation arrives, most students feel a natural confidence to begin teaching, while also knowing they are stepping onto a lifelong path of growth and discovery.
