Explore your inner universe with dynamic prompts of words and sound.
Sound reaches into the depths of our being. Words connect us to something higher. Join us for this innovative and interactive experience in which you will receive live sound bites and word bites as prompts to energize and elevate your writing. You will discover the dynamic and synergistic power of carefully structured, polytonal sounds with lyrical and inspired words to motivate, heal, and uplift you as you manifest the true art and spirit of writing.
Each workshop features a healing sound meditation composed with the omnipresent voices of Tibetan sacred sound instruments followed by creative and practical guidelines on writing from the heart. You will get the opportunity to respond in writing to several types of sound and word prompts and then learn how to weave your varied writings together.
Tickets: $60 pre register; $75 at the door if space permits
Please bring yoga mat, blanket, pen/pencil and journal/paper.
