The Vedas declare that Divine Mother is everywhere. This was taught thousands of years ago but now we live in a world dominated by a solar attitude that has lead us into many harsh and extreme ways of living, working and even our approaches to healing are performed with a promise of instant results. The dissemination of Vedic knowledge through the ancient Rishi tradition of India took millenniums to accomplish and was the greatest gift to humanity. Likewise attaining the goal of enlightenment takes time. It truly begins with learning how to live on this planet by cultivating a new relationship with our body that honors the gentle and restorative quality of the moon.
This means cultivating a reflective mind, eating a plant-based diet and establishing a balanced seasonal lifestyle that is in harmony with all living things. To balance the sun we need the nectar of the moon to restore us and connect us to Mother Earth. Her teaching is called Ayurveda. It was born of the creator and passed down to us over the ages to balance the practice of yoga and create harmony between our spirit and nature.
Yogananda said it best… “Within your physical form is a secret door to divinity, hasten your evolution by proper diet, healthful living.”
Yoga and Ayurveda are meant to be together to aid in the evolution of mankind. Why wait? Ayurveda is here and available to you.
