Holistic Anatomy and Physiology of Yoga will provide you with an understanding of structural anatomy and holistic physiology as it relates to therapeutic yoga. You will explore muscles, bones, nerves, organs, glands and the other bodily systems with a holistic view to healing and health. You will learn to employ yogic practices as both assessment and prescriptive tools. You will build the necessary understanding and capability to work with people dealing with pain and movement limitations.
Each workshop includes an anatomy and physiology lecture, body reading, diagnostic guidance, prescriptive asana, and question and answers.

- Have in-depth knowledge of the interdependent factors which determine health.
- Have knowledge of the common pathologies that affect the body.
- Have knowledge of kinesiology/body mechanics, including common misalignments, injuries, and limitations which cause imbalance.
- Understand the indications of using asana and hands-on adjustments as a prescription for healing, as well as the counter-indications of asana for common illness, injury and other conditions.
