Sound invites us to listen, participate, and connect. This study area brings together two ways to explore it: learning to guide a sound healing experience, and learning to share kirtan through music and mantra.

Sound Healing Trainings

with Wah!

Explore how to play, shape, and guide sound in two focused trainings—from the foundations of a short relaxation to the design of a longer sound journey.

Level I: Sound Healing Facilitator

November 14, 2026

Develop your skills with bowls, wands, voice, and simple patterns. Learn to bring these elements together for a short guided sound experience.

Level II: Sound Healing Design & Composition

April 24, 2027

Explore musical variation, tone, pacing, and spoken guidance as you learn to compose a 30–50 minute sound healing session.

Tuition: $300 per training

Each course meets live on Zoom, 9:00 am–12:00 pm Pacific.

Explore devotional singing and build the skills to share kirtan. Beginners and experienced practitioners can study harmonium, voice, and Bhakti Yoga with Govind Das.

Where do I register?

The Sound Healing Trainings button takes you to Sacred Sound of the Soul, where you can explore both Wah! courses and register. The Kirtan button opens the Soul of Yoga event page for details and enrollment.

Can I attend online?

Both Wah! trainings meet live on Zoom. Kirtan offers a choice of attending at the Institute in Encinitas or joining online, with recordings available.

Which training is a good place to begin?

Wah!’s Level I introduces short sound sessions. Level II focuses on designing a longer experience. Govind Das welcomes people new to harmonium as well as practitioners expanding their kirtan repertoire.

What instruments will I need?

Kirtan participants need their own harmonium or keyboard. For the Wah! courses, visit the Sound Healing Trainings page or contact Sacred Sound of the Soul about instruments and preparation.
