Facilitator Bios:
Esau Aguayo is a practicing psychotherapist and ceremonial facilitator devoted to bridging modern psychology with Indigenous wisdom. Born in California, Esau moved to Mexico to reconnect with his roots and lineage, inspired by his grandmother’s relationship with cacao. He currently lives in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, where he works alongside local cacao-growing families, deepening his relationship with the medicine through lived practice and community.
Trained in Gestalt psychotherapy in Guadalajara, Esau travels throughout the year between Mexico and California, facilitating ceremonies while maintaining a therapeutic practice in both countries.
Justin Yasgoor is a practicing psychotherapist in California specializing in Spiritual Depth Psychology and has devoted more than 25 years to the ceremonial practice of the didgeridoo. As a teenager, he traveled to Northeast Arnhem Land, Australia, where he lived in the Yolŋu community of Yirrkala and volunteered during the early development of the Buku-Larrŋgay Mulka Centre, an Aboriginal community-run cultural center dedicated to preserving and celebrating Yolŋu art, knowledge, and tradition.
During this time, Justin was introduced to traditional approaches to playing the yidaki (didgeridoo) and developed a lifelong respect for its cultural, ceremonial, and spiritual significance. Since then, he has remained devoted to Indigenous wisdom traditions and the healing potential of sound, offering immersive ceremonial experiences that cultivate grounding, presence, deep listening, and a renewed connection to oneself, community, and the living world.
