The Gita offers deep exploration into a great many yogic concepts, from Karma and Dharma to non-attachment, and moderation. In this workshop we will delve into Arjuna’s struggles with his feelings of inadequacy to meet the demands of the yogic approaches recommended by Krishna.

Yoga professionals so often question their own belief in some of the concepts of the yogic philosophy, for example: “Do I believe in a personal Godhead, Or reincarnation?” They question their own worthiness as compared with a yogic ideal “Am I good enough if I lack the discipline to get to my yoga mat every day?” “Do my physical limitations hinder my ability to teach yoga?” “Is my busy mind an indication that I am a bad yogi and shouldn’t teach?”

Facing “imposter syndrome” as a yoga teacher and therapist is a very common struggle. However, delving into the questions of inadequacy is actually an important part of yoga practice and instrumental to your growth as a teacher.
